My Voice is Silent

Once again it has been some time since I wrote a blog post. I am always scribbling away at something, but a piece of writing on a piece of paper being transferred to a blog on my website can take a long time. I am old fashioned in that I prefer to write on paper. It fits more with my inner voice and how I feel when I am writing. During the last few weeks my voice has been very silent regarding any form of writing and I began to wonder why.

Sitting with this thought in silence the words formed at once. I can see how the need for silent thinking is so necessary at times, especially at this time of the year when we are still in rest mode, in a space of receptivity.
My voice is silent
My voice is silent with rest
My voice is listening
My voice is listening to the inner sounds
My voice has no need to respond to others' outer sounds
My voice is holding the space for light
My voice is holding the space for light in the darkness
My voice is learning to find the sound of the sacred
My voice is silent, but o so filled with Grace.
