I am so grateful to have had some of the constellation poems I have written accepted for publication in the next edition of “The Knowing Field”, a journal concentrating on Constellation work through articles, but also poetry.
I am sharing this poem “Ancestors” as we enter into the time of the year where we journey within more and more as the darkness gathers around us. There is strength within the darkness as well as a time for introspection and healing. I always feel the presence of the Ancestors more clearly at this time of the year. We are never alone.
Ancestors
If I stop and listen to the wind
Perhaps I will hear their voices
If I listen to the rushing of the wind in the trees
Perhaps their songs will be heard
If I stand and listen to the rushing of the waves
I may hear their anguished cries
And if I stop and listen to the silence
I will hear the sound of their tears falling.
